Cynthia Puente, DVM

Dr. Cynthia Puente attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Louisiana State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Dr. Puente has experience in small animal general practice and emergency medicine. 

Special Interests: Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, Preventive and Integrative Medicine, Client Education.

Personal: Dr. Puente was born and raised in Houston, TX. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, and traveling with her special needs dog named Rosie!

Chelsey

Veterinary Technician

Growing up in Houston, Texas, Chelsey knew from a young age she always wanted to have a career in veterinary medicine. She began her career as an assistant in general practice in 2012 and further developed her skills in emergency and critical care. She is currently attending PennFoster’s online degree program to become a licensed veterinary technician with plans to graduate in 2025. 

Her hobbies include reading, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time with her fur baby, Riley George.

Veterinary Technician

After joining FFA and graduating school in Texas, Angy quickly realized she was highly driven to the veterinary world. Since completing her Veterinary Assistant program in 2016, Angy has dedicated 9 years of career experience to helping animals from general practice, emergency care to now urgent care.

Currently, she is completing her Bachelor’s degree while helping animals and furthering her education in Veterinary Medicine. When Angy is not saving lives, she loves spending time with her daughter, Abigail and has lots of play time with her Frenchie Patrick and her Siamese cat Rubí.

Elle Turner

Elle

Veterinary Receptionist

Elle grew up in League City and always had a passion for animals. She has been working as a veterinary receptionist since 2015, and has spent the majority of her career in emergency and shelter medicine. She fosters sick and injured cats through a local rescue group, and has successfully fostered 140 cats and 3 dogs since 2021. 

Most evenings you will find her cross stitching and spending quiet evenings at home with her seven cats, or spending time with friends and loved ones.
